Hello my lovely Charismaniacs,
I’ve been overwhelmed by your positive responses and suggestions for our newsletter. I never imagined we would receive so much feedback – yet we have over ten thousand responses.
It’s shocking, really. I felt like lightning struck me when I started reading the responses coming in. Over ten thousand people WANT me to crowd their inboxes so much that they (YOU) took valuable time to help shape the evolution of this newsletter. Sheesh!
I personally hate receiving most bulk email, so it’s hard for me to comprehend how eager all of you are, and that makes me want to deliver something even more valuable. I feel like I’ve received a personal invitation from each of you. In return, I promise to not squander your time.
Here are the results from the various prompts/polls we put on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and in emails.
- Singing Tips from Elizabeth was a big winner on YouTube and also took first on IG
- BUT, Singing Tips actually didn’t do so hot in our Google Poll – coming in next to last place.
- Speaking of last – everyone seems to agree that a Weekly Review of TCV Releases (the past format) was just not that worthwhile.
- The other three categories – Preview of Upcoming Content, Weekly Thought from Elizabeth, and Musical Joke – came out fairly even when accounting for the number of responses on each platform, with the preview showing slightly more interest.
- But (and here’s my favorite part) the comments and written feedback revealed something way more thought provoking than I expected…
Overwhelmingly, many of you asked for my written thoughts on a large variety of subjects. You want to know what I think of a recent concert, what I’m listening to currently, what I think of industry trends, and most commonly – any topic I find interesting and want to write about.
… Holy. Crap.
You want to know what I think about life in general!??
The idea of revealing my inner thinking is dangerous – but also enticing. I’ve always wanted to positively impact people. I think that I do that currently through music and teaching (I love my life!).
There is also a quiet yet daring voice inside me that wants to expand: to become an inspirational person/speaker. Yes, I’ll always involve music in some way as that’s what I live and breathe, but someday I’d also like to speak to a group of kids at a high school and give them some excellent and unforgettable life advice. Who knows? Maybe I’ll write the next Sunscreen Speech.
So, are you ready to take a journey together?
